Knitting Pattern: LA River Mitts
Knitting Pattern: LA River Mitts
These handwarmer mitts are an homage to the 11 years I lived in Los Angeles. The LA River is not exactly a beautiful landmark; most of what runs through the city is a paved over concrete channel. But if you know, you know that the realest, most exciting, and most vibrant parts of Los Angeles are found close to the river.
A thick band of stockinette stitch evoking the river’s channel runs through the middle of these mitts, surrounded by stretchy ribbing that ensures a comfortably snug fit.
